Instrumental holiday production music beds in an assortment of styles:
AWAY IN A MANGER - Mellow electric guitars guide this Christmas carol classic. Things get a little jazzy in the middle.
DECK THE HALLS - Country version of the Christmas Classic with some old-time rock and roll mixed in. A boogie woogie piano, twangy guitars and sleigh bells will have you hall decking in no time!.
I SAW THREE SHIPS - Sounds like Christmas music being performed at a Renaissance festival, except here you don’t have to watch a couple of middle-age dudes trying to joust.
JINGLE BELLS - Bluegrass version of the holiday classic. Guitar and banjo duel it out over a rolling drum beat. Featured in the rarely seen Christmas special “Deliverance On Ice.”
JOLLY OLD SAINT NICOLAS - It’s a rockabilly Christmas! Some guitars, upright bass and drums—throw in some jingle bells and it’s done! Swinging retro rock holiday carol that works great for country too. Few are aware that Santa moonlighted as a rockabilly bass player in the fifties.
O CHRISTMAS TREE - A mellow but movin’ country Christmas goody with sleigh bells, electric piano, guitars and drums. Little known fact: The original title was “O Christmas Tree, Sorry You Caught Fire When I Used Those Lights I Bought at the Flea Market.”
O HOLY NIGHT - This Christmas carol classic is presented as a big-sounding rock ballad that builds in intensity. It’s versatile enough to be used in a holiday project that calls for pop or country Christmas music, or in a contemporary religious setting.
SILENT NIGHT - Here’s a pretty and peaceful, mostly acoustic version of the Christmas carol that fits well with country, soft rock, pop and folk styles of music.
THE TWELVE DAYS OF CHRISTMAS - And all twelve in under three minutes! Instrumentally, this fast and fun holiday music track features everything but the kitchen sink (the kitchen sink player called in sick). Oboe and electric guitar, working together in the spirit of the season!
UP ON THE ROOFTOP (HOUSETOP) - The style is kind of surf, kind of new wave, kind of punk rock. But hey, Christmas is a big tent and there’s plenty of room for a spiky-haired, skinny tie-wearing surfer. Especially if he brings eggnog.
WE WISH YOU A MERRY CHRISTMAS - This is the first official recording from the North Pole Five, Santa’s house band made up of some seriously swinging elves. Nothing but jazz here, with piano, guitar, sax, bass and drums, topped off with some nice holiday touches.
